On Saturday (March 21, 2015) Indian designer Suneet Varma presented his Summer/Resort 2015 collection in India, during the Lakmé Fashion Week (March 18-22).

Suneet Varma is one of the India's foremost couturiers, who has studied in Europe and has worked with Yves Saint Laurent in Paris, France.

'Meticulous craftsmanship, a strong design sensibility and an undying love for sartorial research, the Varma brand exudes fantasy, sexy sophistication and unadulterated femininity for the woman of today'.

Suneet has been awarded the Designer of the Year award several times by the Bollywood Fashion council in NYC. As a consultant designer, Suneet has also developed designs for fashion houses like Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Caroline Herrera and Nicole Miller.

Suneet Varma Summer/Resort 2015 collection is named 'Decorative Arts of India' and showed the visual traditions of different regions in India, including garments like: corset blouses with tulle saris, chiffon saris, embroidered lehengas, mirror-work belts, draped-back mirror-work blouses, ponchos, drainpipe trousers, shorts, mullet-hem tunics, jackets.
